Lucia Cupertino

Writer and poet, cultural anthropologist and translator. She has been living for more than ten years between Latin America countries (especially Mexico, Colombia and Chile) and Italy (Bologna and Southern Italy) with long term experiences in Germany and Australia. She is currently living in Italy. Because of her personal life experience, she is a bilingual writer in Italian and Spanish. She has published poetry collections and prose works.   Her poetry and works of fiction have appeared in Italian and international magazines. Some of her literary production has been translated into English, Chinese, Bengali and Albanian and included into many anthologies. She participated in festivals, literary meetings and readings in Italy, Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Germany and Australia. She is a founding member and editor of La Macchina Sognante. Translator of more than 10 Latin American works, including books and anthologies.
